ver the past few years, Cathleen’s fundraising accomplishments at LaSalle include a number of seven-figure gifts from alumni; a significant multi-year relationship with a financial institution that includes a major gift for naming rights of the University’s primary athletic facility, and scholarships for undergraduate students.

Formerly, she served as Associate Vice President of Villanova University’s Office of University Advancement and was a key senior staff member for their office of more than 90 advancement professionals. Prior to joining Villanova, Ms. Parsons-Nikolić spent seven years at Temple University’s Office of Institutional Advancement.

Earlier in her career, she conducted development research at the University of Pennsylvania and at the University of Buffalo. She also worked in Serbia as a program research assistant at OXFAM – UK and Ireland, reporting to the program manager for this implementing agency of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees during the Bosnian War.

Ms. Parsons-Nikolić earned a Master of Liberal Arts in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, completed graduate work at the University of Buffalo, and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she graduated magna cum laude.
